The New Year
The New Year has gotten off to a great start. We've made some wonderful banana bread muffins, yummy beef stroganoff and the always delicious soda bread buns. Next week we will be making pizza to start off the next 8 weeks of cooking classes.
If you are interested in signing up, please send me an email (eileenoco@gmail.com) or call me (905-729-4898). I have 2 spots available on the Tuesday evening classes which start at 6 p.m. and go until 7:30 p.m.
This term we will be making pizza, a chicken brocolli braid, apple crisp, shepherd's pie (a family favourite), butter tarts, oatmeal cookies (with chocolate chips, raisins or plain!), a simple chicken divan and scalloped potatoes. As always, we will be having a lot of fun and making some wonderful food that the entire family can enjoy.
Keep checking back to hear about the classes and see what's coming up in Farmhouse Kitchen! Spring will soon be here and I'm already starting to plan for special strawberry jam making classes - they were popular with everyone last year and I'm looking forward to another successful jam season!
